What leasing options are available?
We offer lease terms between 2 and 15 months.
Can I request a specific apartment & can an apartment be held?
Yes! If it's available, you can choose the apartment home that best fits your needs. A completed application with a deposit and app fees paid will hold the apartment.
Is there a security deposit and is any of it refundable?
Yes, deposits vary on bedroom count and screening results. Deposits are refundable less any fees associated with damages, cleaning, outstanding balances, etc.
Are utilities inlcuded?
Utilities are not included unless otherwise stated. Your leasing team can provide a breakdown of utility responsibilities for your apartment.
Do you accept Section 8 vouchers?
Yes. We accept Section 8 vouchers for applicants who qualify.
Do you offer individual leases & co-living?
No. We offer traditional leases and do not offer individual leases or co-living arrangements.
Can the apartment be sublet or listed on short-term rental platforms like AirBnB or VRBO?
No, we do not allow 3rd-party rentals like AirBnB or VRBO.
Is renter's insurance required?
Yes, renter's insurance is required. Please contact our team for coverage requirements.
What are the hours for the fitness center?
The fitness center is open 5 am - 11 pm daily with secure key-fob access.
What are the hours of the clubhouse?
The clubhouse is open 5 am - 11 pm daily with secure key-fob access.
What are the hours for the pool? Is it open seasonally?
The pool is open from 10 am to 9 pm and is in operation from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
What are the hours for the business center?
Our business center is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Are apartments internet/cable ready? Is there a separate charge? How do I set it up?
The internet is included, but residents will need to supply a router and set up through the provider.
How do I get my packages/do you have package lockers?
Package lockers located by the mailboxes.
Are BBQ grills available?
BBQ grills are available on the patio area. Electric and Propane Grills are allowed on balconies.
Do you offer valet trash service and/or recycling?
No.
Are concierge services available?
No.
What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is prohibited inside the apartments and common-areas.
Do you allow pets; if so, do you have pet amenities?
We do allow 2 pets per home. We have a spacious dog park with plenty of running space, a pet spa located in the clubhouse, and dog waste bag stations throughout the community.
What is the parking situation?
Off-street parking is available and open to residents and their guests. Garage options are available for an additional cost.
How far is it to the nearest airport or train station?
We are 15 miles from the Des Moines International Airport and 10 miles from Ankeny Regional Airport
How walkable/bikable is the community.
Our city offers plenty of sidewalk and trail routes as well as local neighborhoods for walking and biking.
What schools are in the area?
Clay Elementary, Delaware Elementary, Southeast Polk Middle School, Southeast Polk High School.
Are you near any transportation routes? Which ones?
We are located close to DART bus routes, with transportation offered into the city of Des Moines
What type of flooring do the apartments have?
Our apartments come appointed with wood-style flooring through the main areas and carpet in the bedroom.
Is there a bathtub or just a shower?
Both depending on the style of the unit.
What kind of appliances and features does the kitchen have?
GE Appliances with a glass top stove, water dispenser fridge, and dishwasher.
Do kitchen sinks have a garbage disposal?
Yes, all apartments have a garbage disposal.
Do apartments have dishwashers?
Yes, all of our apartments come with a dishwasher.
Does the apartment come with a microwave?
Yes, our apartments have a microwave mounted above the stove.
Are washers and dryers available? Are they in the apartment? What kind?
Washers and dryers come in every unit.
Are the apartments furnished?
Our apartments do not come furnished, but there are partner companies that have options for furnishing a home.
Do the apartments have air conditioning?
Yes, all of our apartments have central air conditioning and heat.
When were these apartments built? Have there been any renovations?
